TPCA POLICY
Effective Date: June 1st, 2025
Last Updated: June 11th, 2025
Mortgage Pipeline (“we,” “our,” or “us”) is committed to complying with the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA) and all related regulations. This policy outlines how we collect consent, use customer contact information, and communicate with leads through phone calls, text messages, and other automated systems in compliance with the law.
1. Overview of the TCPA
The Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA), enforced by the Federal Communications Commission (FCC), restricts telemarketing communications via voice calls, SMS text messages, and fax. The TCPA requires businesses to obtain prior express written consent before using an automated telephone dialing system (ATDS) or prerecorded messages to contact consumers for marketing purposes.
2. Consent for Communications
Mortgage Pipeline obtains prior express written consent before sending any marketing communications via:
Phone calls (including auto-dialed)
SMS/MMS text messages
Prerecorded voice messages
Consent is collected through website lead forms or other digital platforms. By submitting personal information on our website or through affiliated lead sources, users explicitly agree to be contacted using automated technology—even if they are on a federal or state Do Not Call list.
Sample Disclosure Statement:
By clicking “Submit” or otherwise providing your contact information, you agree to receive communications—including calls, texts, and emails—from Mortgage Pipeline and its affiliated partners. These communications may use automated dialing systems or prerecorded messages. You are not required to provide this consent as a condition of receiving any services.
3. Information We Record for TCPA Compliance
To ensure we meet all legal obligations, Mortgage Pipeline retains:
Timestamp of consent
IP address of the user
Exact language of the disclosure agreed to at the time of submission
A copy of the completed web form or phone transcript (if applicable)
4. Lead Sources and Third-Party Vendors
If Mortgage Pipeline receives leads from third-party sources, we require all vendors to:
Verify that leads were generated with TCPA-compliant consent
Provide documentation of consent upon request
Abide by all applicable federal and state telemarketing regulations
We do not purchase or use leads that have not been collected in compliance with the TCPA.
5. Opt-Out Policy
Recipients of our communications can opt out at any time by:
Replying “STOP” to any SMS message
Calling us directly to be removed from our contact list
Emailing us at [Insert Email Address] with the subject line “Opt-Out Request”
We process all opt-out requests promptly and maintain an internal Do Not Call list in accordance with TCPA guidelines.
6. Policy Enforcement and Training
Mortgage Pipeline trains all team members involved in telemarketing or customer outreach on TCPA compliance. Violations of this policy may result in disciplinary action, up to and including termination, and we regularly review practices to ensure ongoing compliance.
7. Contact Us
